About Gostunes

The Sound Has Always Been Ours.

Music has always been a battleground. Not between genres, but between purpose. Between noise and meaning. Between what the world offers and what the soul actually needs.

Gostunes exists because we refused to accept that urban music belongs to the world.

This platform was not built overnight. Its roots go back decades, all the way back to the era of jungle and garage in the UK, when urban music was electric and culture was being made in real time on the streets. Back when the tension between loving that sound and living a life of faith felt impossible to resolve. For years that tension sat unanswered. Early attempts were made to bridge the gap, but something always felt off. Artists chasing fame over purpose. Church elders calling it the devil's music. A culture that told you to pick a side. So like many, we stepped back. We left it alone. But the idea never left.

Because the more we looked at the world around us, the more we saw the same pattern everywhere. Movies. Technology. Art. Fashion. None of it was created for the glory of God, and yet believers use all of it every single day to worship, to connect, to build. So why were we so willing to surrender music? Why were we handing over one of the most powerful tools of human expression and letting the world define what it means?

We decided we were done surrendering it.

Gospel rap, Afrobeats gospel, grime, drill, trap worship, RnB. These are not just genres. They are cultural languages. And for too long, Christians who speak those languages have been told to choose. Choose between your faith and your sound. Choose between the church and the culture you came from.

We reject that choice entirely.

Gostunes is a faith-based urban music discovery and promotion platform built for the generation that loves God and loves the music they grew up with. We discover, amplify and celebrate Christian artists who carry the message of the gospel through the sounds of the street. Without apology, without compromise and without losing what makes the music real.

Our Foundation

Psalms 150

Psalms 150 is our foundation. Read it carefully and you will find something remarkable: God never told us how to praise Him. He told us to praise Him with everything. With strings. With cymbals. With dancing. With breath. If Psalms 150 were written today, we believe it would include a 808 drum pattern and a verse that hits.

We are not here to sanitise the sound.
We are here to sanctify the message.

Gostunes is building a community of artists, listeners, creators and believers who understand that you do not have to leave your culture at the door to walk with God. You bring it with you. You use it. You transform it.

The world has had the music long enough.
It is time to take it back.
